Market Street Grade Separation

NCDOT Rail | Greensboro, NC | November 2019 – December 2019

Public Participation Partners conducted the Community Impacts Assessment (CIA) for the Market Street Grade Separation project in Greensboro, NC. The proposed grade separation would close two railroad crossings and realign Lowdermilk Road and Sykes Avenue. P3 compiled demographic data for the project study area, including identification of Title VI, Environmental Justice, and Limited English Proficiency populations; conducted a field visit to inspect the project area’s community characteristics; contacted local officials for input; and drafted the CIA documentation.
